HERITAGE SCHOOL ORGANISES WORKSHOP ON ‘CARTOONS AND CARICATURES'

Heritage School in collaboration with Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust and Lok Seva gallery organised a workshop on ‘Cartoons and Caricatures’ on 24th Sept. 2018. The aim of the workshop was to stimulate the faculty of imagination among students while identifying and encouraging young and talented artists to pursue their creative aspirations.
Mr. Uday Shankar, a renowned cartoonist of Times of India, conducted the workshop and 30 budding artists of the school got the golden opportunity to work under his guidance.
While interacting with staff and the students he discussed the importance of cartoons and caricatures and how this art helps to raise political and social issues through pictorial satire. Students got the opportunity to see his body of work and also learnt basics of developing cartoons and caricatures along with its scope as a career option.
It was an immensely enriching experience for the students.
