Heritage School conducted an enlightening workshop on 'Gender Sensitivity' for the teaching staff today. The event aimed to enhance awareness of gender-related issues and foster inclusivity in the learning environment.

The Principal, Mr Akash Pradhan, welcomed the resource person, Dr. Surbhi Sharma, a distinguished expert in the field of gender studies and child psychology .The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including gender stereotypes, gender equality, promoting diversity, creating gender-sensitive curricula and teaching practices, tools and strategies to recognize and eliminate gender biases, ensuring a supportive and respectful atmosphere for students of all genders.It also encouraged open discussions and interactive activities to enhance participants' understanding and awareness.
In her vote of thanks, the Vice Principal, Mrs Rashmi Thakur, expressed gratitude to Dr. Sharma for her enlightening insights and to the teachers for their active participation.
